Refund Policy

We want refunds to be clear and fair. Because AI video generation uses real computing resources, refund eligibility depends on both when you request a refund and how many credits have already been used.

Being within the refund window does not automatically make an order refundable. Refund eligibility also depends on the purchase type, credit usage, promotional benefits, recoverable credits, payment processing costs, and the terms below.

1. Refund Principles

Refunds are reviewed based on the following principles:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within the applicable refund window.
  • Used credits are non-refundable.
  • Bonus credits have no cash value and are non-refundable.
  • Payment processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • After a refund is approved, unused subscription credits, purchased credits, and bonus credits related to the refunded order may be removed from your account.
  • Abuse, policy violations, or misuse of the service may make an order ineligible for refund.

2. Annual Subscription Refunds

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of the initial purchase if credit usage remains under 15% of the annual subscription credits already issued to your account, including any first-month bonus credits.

Annual subscription credits are delivered monthly during the subscription period. This means refund eligibility is based on credits already issued to your account, not the full yearly credit amount.

Some annual plans include promotional benefits, such as lower credit costs for selected premium models, including benefits described as “Seedance AI Video · 50% Fewer Credits” or similar. These benefits are designed for active annual subscribers and do not have refundable cash value if the annual subscription is refunded.

During refund review, completed generations may be recalculated at the standard credit cost that would have applied without annual-plan promotions, discounts, or reduced-credit benefits. This means your review usage may be higher than the credits originally deducted during generation.

For example, if a generation normally costs 100 credits but your annual plan promotion charged only 50 credits, refund review may treat that generation as 100 credits of usage.

If your annual plan provides 2,500 credits per month and includes a 30% first-month bonus, your first-month issued credits are 3,250 credits. In this case, refund eligibility requires usage to remain under 15% of 3,250 issued credits after any applicable standard-cost recalculation.

If a refund is approved:

  • Used credits will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Payment processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Any remaining subscription credits and bonus credits related to the refunded subscription will be removed from your account.
  • Annual subscription benefits will end after the refund is processed.

Annual subscriptions purchased with promotional discounts, special offers, coupons, or limited-time campaigns may require additional review and are not guaranteed to be refundable.


3. Monthly Subscription Refunds

Monthly subscription payments may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of the initial purchase if credit usage remains under 15% of the credits issued for that billing period.

If a refund is approved:

  • Used credits will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Payment processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Any remaining subscription credits and bonus credits related to the refunded monthly subscription may be removed from your account.
  • Monthly subscription benefits will end after the refund is processed.

Monthly subscriptions are intended for flexible short-term use. If credits from the current billing period have been significantly used, the payment is not eligible for refund.


4. Subscription Renewal Refunds

Subscription renewal payments may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of renewal only if no credits from the renewed billing period have been used.

Once credits from the renewed billing period are used, the renewal payment becomes non-refundable.

If a renewal refund is approved:

  • The renewed subscription period may be cancelled immediately.
  • Any credits issued for the renewed billing period will be removed.
  • Payment processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.


5. Credit Pack Refunds

Credit pack purchases may be eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase if less than 15% of the purchased credits have been used.

If a credit pack refund is approved:

  • Used credits are non-refundable.
  • Only unused purchased credits may be refundable.
  • Payment processing fees will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Any unused purchased credits related to the refunded credit pack will be removed from your account.
  • Bonus credits received from promotions or annual-member credit pack bonuses will be removed first.

Bonus credits from credit pack promotions have no cash value and are non-refundable.

For example, if an annual member purchases a credit pack and receives 30% extra bonus credits, those bonus credits are promotional benefits. If the credit pack is refunded, unused bonus credits will be removed and cannot be converted into cash value.


6. Bonus Credits

Bonus credits may include, but are not limited to:

  • First-month annual subscription bonus credits
  • Annual-member credit pack bonus credits
  • Promotional campaign credits
  • Courtesy credits issued by support
  • Free trial credits

Bonus credits:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are non-refundable
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • May be removed when the related order is refunded
  • May expire according to the terms of the related promotion or plan

When both purchased credits and bonus credits exist in an account, Seedly.Video may determine how credits are applied, deducted, restored, or removed for refund and accounting purposes.


7. Non-Refundable Cases

The following cases are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Refund requests submitted after the applicable refund window
  • Orders where credit usage exceeds the allowed usage limit
  • Subscription renewals where credits from the renewed billing period were used
  • Credit packs where 15% or more of purchased credits have been used
  • Bonus credits, promotional credits, or free credits
  • Payment processing fees deducted from approved refunds
  • Orders that have already been refunded or partially refunded
  • Accounts that violated our Terms of Service
  • Abuse of refund, credit, or generation systems
  • User dissatisfaction with completed AI-generated outputs where the service successfully produced a usable result, since AI-generated results may vary by prompt, model, settings, and source materials

8. Payment Processing Fees

If a refund is approved, a payment processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

The payment processing fee is generally approximately 5% of the payment amount, as charged or retained by payment service providers such as Stripe. The actual deducted amount may vary depending on the payment method, currency, region, card network, bank, or payment provider rules.

This fee is not an additional service fee charged by Seedly.Video. It reflects payment processing costs charged or retained by payment service providers when payments or refunds are processed, and the deducted amount will be reflected in the final refund calculation.


9. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current paid billing period.

After cancellation:

  • You may continue to use subscription benefits and unused subscription credits until the end of the current paid billing period, unless a refund is processed or the plan states otherwise.
  • Future renewals will be stopped.
  • Previously used credits are not refundable.

10. Refund Review Process

To request a refund, please contact us at support@seedly.video with:

  • Your account email
  • Order ID or payment receipt
  • Purchase type
  • Reason for the refund request

Refund requests are typically reviewed within 3–7 business days.

If approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method when possible. The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

Seedly.Video reserves the right to make the final decision on refund eligibility based on account usage, order type, credit history, abuse risk, promotional benefits, recoverable credits, and the terms stated in this policy.


11. Policy Updates

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our product, pricing, credit system, payment provider requirements, or legal obligations.

The updated policy will take effect once posted on our website. Continued use of Seedly.Video after policy updates means you accept the updated policy.
